I don't have a positive match, but this looks interesting. I have a Mary E. Jones who was a dau of Harrison Marion Jones. I show her birth as Dec 23, 1878 - close to yours and died 1962 - my data could be in error because that is all I have in my data. From another Maltsberger researcher I have William James Maltsberger married to a Mary Ellen Jones, but their data stops there - no dates, etc., except b/d dates on William. It is possible that my Mary E. Jones was the wife of their William James Maltsberger. The parents of my Mary E. Jones, Harrison Marion Jones and Georgia Ann Glenn, were married June 25 1873 at Yucaipa Ranch (12 miles east San Benardino CA). I don't show any Maltsbergers in CA in 1880, but they could have gone there by 1900. According to the Maltsberger researcher, William James's father died in Pawnee OK 1905 and his mother, Eleanor Burt, died in San Antonio, date unknown. That's all they provide. Does any of this look interesting? I know that the Jones family went to CA in 1866 and stayed there. Is it possible your Maltsberger went to CA in 1890's? Let me know what you think.
