Joy in GA John Watson, Junior to DEED Charlotte Coker Georgia Franklin County This indenture made the 20th August in the year of Our Lord one thousand and eight hundred forty one between John Watson, Junior of the county and state aforesaid of the one part and Charlotte Coker of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John Watson, Jun. for and in consideration of the sum of three dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that the said John Watson, Jun. hath bargained..... and releases and by these presents does bargain, sell & release unto the said Charlotte Coker, her heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county and State aforesaid on the Augusta Road bounded east by Mary Coker land and west by William B. Stephens land beginning at a Black Gum comes on the Augusta road thence 12 rods to a Gum thence near or north crosses 20 rods to a post oak comes thence near our .... course 13 rods to a beechnut comes in said road to the beginning black gum comes so as to include part of the old field to have and to hold all & singular the said and bargained premises, and I the said John Watson, Jun. do warrant & defend the said Tract of land from me, my heirs and assigns and from all manner of persons whatsoever unto the said Charlotte Coker, his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & seal the year & day above written signed in presence of John W.
