    2. Hello Dwight- Thanks for the info. I agree that the Franklin Co. Coker is probably the "Calvin" from Laurens SC 1800 and 1810. Just can't find anything that explains how he got the land in Franklin-have tried Elbert and Franklin Co. deed books. Cynthia

Just wanted to inject my Cokers - John, Joseph and James who were in Laurens 1800-1820 and then appear in Franklin TN 1830 census, p 95. They were in Talladega 1840 and Cherokee Co TX 1850. Wonder if we can find relationship of you Calvin to my John, Joseph and James? Joseph and John were in Bexar Co TX by 1854 and are buried there. Early Laurens census (1810) indicates that was all of the children in this group.
