Also about the census this is what a kind man on the net sent me and its all I've got on Isaac :(I'm thinking the older generations should have talked about themself more, you can bet I'm gonna drill it in my kids head, that is if I ever find out haha) manual for 1900 census expanded, Mountain Township, Scott Co, AR. Looked up Coker. Found the following - this is taken directly from the book Dwelling #73/84 Coker, Isaac P. - Hd - Jan 1849 - 51 - M/13 - AR-UN-UN Elizabeth - Wf - Jan 1854 - 46 - 6/5 - AR-GA-MO Rosa B. - D - Oct 1884 - 15 - sgl - AR-AR-AR Thomas - S - Aug 1888 - 11 - AR-AR-AR William P. - S - Feb 1889 - 11 - AR-AR-AR Columbus - S - Feb 1894 - 6 - AR-AR-AR Isaac P. Coker was born 10 January 1854 according to his headstone and died 21 July 1913 with burial in Buffalo Cemetery at Boles. He wasn't listed in the 1880 census of Scott Co. His wife is listed as Elizabeth in the 1900 census, but as C.L. in the 1910 census. C. Lizabeth? In the 1910 census of Mountain Township, Dwelling #15/15 we find: Coker, I.P. - Hd - 64 - M2/22 - AR-US-US C.L. - Wf - 54 - M2/22 - 6/5 - AR-AR-MO W.I. - S - 20 - AR-AR-AR Clopton, John - B/L - 61 - Sgl - AR-US-US Nancy - M/L - 82 - Wid - 5/2 - MO-MO-MO No other records were found for Rosa B. Coker. Thomas Coker, 16, Boles was married to Ora Hornbeck, 19, Boles, on 1 January 1905 (Book C, page 326). A headstone in Buffalo Cemetery lists: Oria Coker, wife of T.P., died 20 October 1913. T. P. Coker, 28, Boles, was married to Mrs. Bertha Cowan, 29, Boles on 5 December 1916 (Book D, page 630). William P. Coker as listed in 1900 should be William I. as in the 1910 and 1920 censuses. William Coker, 20, was married to Pearl Roseberry, 18, Boles, on 18 September 1910 (Book D, page 139). Pearl is shown with her parents, Ambrose Gordon Roseberry and Mary Alice Roseberry in the 1910 Mountain Township census, dwelling # 22/22. They are also listed in the 1920 census of Mountain Township, Dwelling #28/28. Thank You Diann Coker Carlock
