Hi Elizabeth, Also note that David Crumpton & Benjamin Davenport also patented land in the same township, Sec 34 in 1886. They had homesteaded at some earlier date. William Crumpton first patented land in this township in 1835. Frances Coker married Willis Davenport in Greenville Co, SC. The Davenports and Crumptons were next door neighbors in Greenville Co.
