However our Wilson / Willson family was in the same area early, in Chowan, Bertie, Northampton, Halifax, Edgecombe counties. They really did not move that much, rather the counties were moving out from under their land. There was a James Wilson Coker in Northampton and a supposed Milner - Crocker - Willis Wilson marriage there also. The details of this last I would have to look up.
