    1. Re: [Coker] Henry E
    2. James Childers
    3. My GGfather Henry E. born November 13, 1836 in Georgia must be related to this family because of the similiarities of naming children. His daughter, My Grandmother was Hattie Jane Coker, born August 8, 1878 in Spring Place, Ga and is one of 2 children of Henry that did not migrate to Texas around 1900 to Moody and Waco. I do not know what the E. stands for nor do I know for sure his mothers name but she lived to be 100 years and at that time her house burned to the ground in Elbert Co. Ga. I know very little about my ancestors. My Dad filled out a page in my Masonic bible in 1971 and had it Notarized stating that his Grandfather was full blood Cherokee Indian. It is evident that we have Indian blood but that too has not been proven. My GGfather was a fiddler who also made the fiddles before he went into the war in 1862. His two sons Walter and Bart were fiddlers also.
