He was born in S. C. in 1755, to Drury son Drury son of Old Joseph Coker. These old Wills and land grants and court records is what we need to prove our ancestor, even when people like Boddie publish books I refer to their sources more than what they write. It does not hurt to discuss old items again as someone might throw a new light on it. Yes, check the mail - list archives for information, which I myself have done before I wrote my current query.
