In regards to claybourne coker the grave sight is the scott-magill cemetery NE1/4-SE1/4 section25 claybourn and elizabeth both are buried their as well as some other cokers. dennis coker his brother married to sallie or sarah (sallid) is buried in hebron cemetary. which is not really in jacksonville but townships but as these the suburb hehe.around it if you have that artical on claibourne coker being stabbed or know how to get it on web please let me know right now i am waiting on illinoise to send me claybourne cokers will. My great grandfather was also dennis coker claiborne son i think where folks get confused is back the phonetics where not copyrighted yet but were use alot heheh. claiborne and claybourne are the same person if you follow the census you will see that age coinsides with person. they say in jacksonville that their were three dennis cokers when i go thru census i only find two and their is 3 yes in one census but if you look at age you will see the younger dennis was a laborer for one of the farmer thus ma! y have been at work one day for censuses and then at home next time when census was taken. also confusion of the dennis sarah thing because both woman either seem to use sarah except dennis brother wife seem to go by sallie or sarah sallie jones. the nephews wife went by sarah a. coker maiden name sarah a clanton of nc. also when 1850 census was done dennis and sarah were still on claybourne farm this shows xlaybourne being 55 or around their dennis son being 21 and his wife is definately older then him by 2 to 4 years. little clitch in age but we no records are only so acurate bought like my spelling. very poor at the moment. now to make this easy if you look at 1860 census for jacksonville precint census you will find dennis coker and wife sarah with some of kids listed. same with 1870 census but after that you will lose track of dennis the sone of claiborne thats because family went to kansas. there had been mass confusion over the dennis thing for some time but if ! you go thru the census and look at age closely when claiborne was 55 or 53 dennis the brother was right same age only dennis i found in 1850 census younger was 20 or 21 years age claiborne cokers son. those looking for sarah a. coker dennis cokers wife she is buried in larned kansas NE section lot 5 also those looking for riley h. coker there is information at larned county court house kansas and for robert coker their is information in census in larned and hodgeman county census. hope this helps some folks. respectfully gary e.coker
