Descendants of Pryor Sexton and Catherine Coker Sexton, daughter of John Michael Coker, still live on the land pioneered by William and Thornton Sexton, sons of Pryor. Danny Miller states that the will of John M Coker was signed in German. Also my biggest information source in Little Grassy Creek, NC stated to me that someone in the family has some letters written to John M Coker from Germany and written in German. Therefore it has been assumed that John M Coker was from Germany. It has always been passed down through these descendants living in Little Grassy Creek that Catherine Coker, the wife of Pryor, was German. Sorry I cannot be of more help, Paula of Tulsa
