He is a descendant of James A. Coker listed below: Children of Newell & Catherine Coker (note: Newell is the son of Jacob Coker, Jacob was brother to my ggg-grandfather Isaac Coker) -- Charity (born 1831) Jacob W. (born 1831) Henry F. (born 1836) Reubin M. (born 1837) James A. (born 1838) Elizabeth (born 1841) William G. (born 1848) He says that Newell & Catherine married in Elbert County in 1825, but had relocated to Habersham County by 1838. Jacob, Henry, Reuben and James all fought with the 24th Georgia Infantry. He says that Henry died of disease in 1862 near Williamsburg, VA. I'm not sure if this is your Henry or not? His is Henry "F" not Henry "E", and also says his Henry was born in Franklin County. Oh well, it was pretty close anyway -- same name, birth year and ties to Elbert County.
