Coker in Tippah County, MS, probably in 1859 (1860 census shows him 7 months old) to James T. (born Ala., 1830) and Francis Coker. James T. was the son of Robert Coker who is listed in 1850 census as 52, born in Georgia. Peyton C. was married to Rebecca, who died about 1913. About 1917, he married Mattie or Pattie, who died in era of 1943-1945. Peyton is buried in Wilkins Cemetery in Union County, MS. Mattie/Pattie is believed to be buried in Pontotoc County, MS. A grandson wants to find the burial site. That's as much as I know about them. Haven't been able to find any record of the marriage of Peyton and Mattie. Thanks for any info that can be located.
