Beth, this Sampson and Priscilla Coker are a mystery. They also show up in 1880 Bexar. Sampson is 79, Farmer and Prisicilla is 81. They show born in SC as well as their parents. In 1860 they are on Page 251 and my Joseph Coker is on Page 253 - not far away. They must have arrived after 1850 since they are not in that census. There is no other information on them and they do not fit into Joseph's family or his brother James's family which stayed in Cherokee Co TX. They are not buried at the Coker Cemetery where all the Joseph Coker descendants are buried. Maybe someone out there can identify them. It is strange for them to show up here at that age without any supporting family.
