According to census data, he was born in GA @ 1823 and his father was born in SC and mother born in GA. From land record data he evidently served in the Cherokee War in Brewster's Co., Ga. Vol. He is enumerated in the 1860 Tallapoosa Co. Census at Tehopeka and in the 1870 Tallapoosa Co census at Newsite and in the 1880 Tallapoosa Co census at Poplar Springs. His wife was Armon, born @ 1840 in GA and her father was born in SC and mother in GA. Children from census data are Alicia D. (Alice D.) b. @ 1858; Dowey Ann, b. @ 1861; Frances L. C., female, b. @ 1862; Eudora(Endora) W., female, b. @ 1865; Eugenia O., b. @ 1868; Rufus W., b. @ 1870; Lula A. [email protected] 1872; Adeline E., b. @1875. Another possible child is Bryant COKER, b. @ 1852 in GA, although he was not listed in the 1860 census but Alicia D. was. Bryant is only listed in the 1870 census. Thanks for your help. BETH
