I only have information from census data. In 1860, Benjamin L. Coker, born @ 1828 in AL is in Pontotoc Co, MS with Sarah A., 21 and Mary F. age 1. Also in household is a John S. COKER who may be a brother of Benjamin's. In 1870 B. L. Coker is in the adjoining county of Lafayette, MS, John is not there. A Coker is 32, Mollie, 11, M. J., female, 9, B. J., female, 7, A.P. female, age 4, and W. H. , male age 2. Census says that, A Coker, A..P. and W. H. Coker were born in TX. Living next door is possibly another brother of Benjamin COKER. He is W. G COKER, age 42, born in AL, C Coker, born in IL, age 32, J. W. Coker, age 15, born in MS, male; D. C. Coker, age 4, female, MS; and M. R. Coker, 1, female, MS and also E. STEVENS, 10, female, born in IL. Neighbors in 1860 in Pontotoc were Noland, Ponder, Waddill, Lesly and Hill. Neighbors in Lafayette are Hensley, McFarland, McNeely, Smith, and Ivy. Beth
