He married Rebecca Jane Smith born 9 Oct. 1843 Alabama she died 26 Oct. 1927 in Hopkins Co. They were married 5 Dec. 1866 in Polk Co. Tx. This is my ggrandparents. Their children were: Lenard (Lennie) Coker Parker(my grandmother) Mary Jane (Mollie) Coker William Denton (Buddy) Coker Cornelia Frances Coker James Seaborn Coker Burris Coker Duff Coker Henry Coker As you can see LFC was 23 years older than RJS & he was 46 when they married so I wonder if he had a previous marriage ( no family records of this).
