Where I have ran into lintage trouble is figuring out if they both actually name two of their kids the same. from the geneology cds I have it says that dennis coker belonging to abraham were as follows dennis coker , mary (polly) coker, claiborne cloey coker, elizabeth, martha (patsy) coker.... spous being liddia (lydia) where i am kinda wondering is dennis from my cd's shows dennis coker married to a sarah jones having two children a clarisa coker and a dennis c. coker can some one let me know if their information shows the same because i have seen same kids for abraham as to isaac coker. the other thing is claiborne coker according to record in ill., was shot can someone confirm that as well.

NOTE: Claiborne's cousin (also named Clayborne, son of Abraham) was murdered at a dance hall where he was the bouncer. (Another version of the story states the Clayborne was the owner, and that he was shot after asking a rowdy customer to step outside.) NOTE: there are different families and same individuals see spellings NOTE: ???Claiborne Coker (son of Abraham) ??see spelling of Clayborne?? HIS COUSIN. Birth: 23 March 1802 -- , Elbert County, GA. Death: 1845 - 1850 -- Morgan County, IL. ????(Shot to death) Spouse: Elizabeth Hale ?????1st married to: Parents: Abraham Coker ___________________________________ NOTE: Claiborne Coker (son of Issac Coker) Birth: 14 March 1802-- , Elbert Co., GA. Death: 12 September 1880 -- Morgan, IL ?????? Spouse: Elizabeth Hale ????? Her second Marriage??? Parents: Issac Coker NOTE: Did Elizabeth Hale Marry the cousin Clayborne (son of Abraham) first then after his death marry his cousin Claiborne (son of Isaac Coker) ???? This information below was from a previous post by Brad Coker. Claiborne Coker -- father of James Wesley Coker -- was the son of Abraham Coker (not Issac). Issac and Abraham were brothers -- both sons of Joseph and Mildred Coker. Abraham's will names Claiborne and Dennis as his sons. Katherine Rambo's notes are not correct. This is all I know; Brad can clear it up.
