He had 3 daughters and 5 sons of whom I have a picture. Thier names were, Frank, Henry, John, Walt and Bill. His family came from Cornwall, England in the 1700's. There was a town called East Coker, which was originally spelled "Cochre", meaning redlands. As I understand he went to Australia before coming to the U.S. I have read on the net the same story of 3 brothers coming from England and one of them disappearing, supposedly drowned at sea. I have no verificaton of this but it is strange the the Coker clan in the south would have a similiar story. > Good to hear from you and have a Happy New Year. > > Gary Coker-Omaha, Nebraska. > > > ==== COKER Mailing List ==== > Coker Querie Board > http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/FamilyAssoc/Coker > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
