They settled in Autauga County. There son William Coker is my direct line. They also had a son James Coker, Jr. I have not been able to locate any of the descendants of James's family. He was married at least twice and about the first family I know nothing. Second he was married to Martha and lived in Columbiana, Shelby County, Alabama. On the 1880 census, James Coker, Jr. is 85 years old and had a son James, age 9. A James Coker, III, presumably. Do you have any idea where James Coker, III may have been living? Beth Gay
