Hagood Abstract made by an unknown abstractor about 1890 from original records of Pike County, Arkansas and recorded in Abstract of Title Book Prior to 1890 ____________________________________________________________________________ Will Book A page 125. Last Will and Testament of T.C. Hagood. Dated March 18th 1885. "First, I give and bequeath to my wife Georgia all of my household furniture and all the rest of my personal property and the whole of my real estate after paying from the same all of my indebtedness, to be hers forever, or during her natural life, unless however she should again marry, in case such should occur, then I wish an equal division between my wife Georgia and my daughter Julia A. Coker, (and) Mary Helen Hagood, John W. Hagood, William Ellis Hagood and Laura Eddie Hagood. Second. My will is that after my present debts are paid, that my wife Georgia shall have, hold and use the whole of the residue of my property both personal and real to use in any way she may deem best in order to support herself and family and to educate my children. I appoint my brother George H. Hagood and Henry C. McLean as my executors. Witnesses, G.M. Adams, Wm. L. McLean (and) J.M. Tidmore. November 16th 1885. Before the Clerk of (the) Probate Court &c. came T.M. Adams and W.L. McLean who first being duly sworn depose and say, that they saw T.C. Hagood sign the foregoing instrument of writing &c. he at the time declaring the same to be his last Will and Testament and we at the request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other, signed as attesting witnesses &c. and we verily believe the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of signing, as aforesaid.
