The person doing the research was, or is, Harry Coker [email protected] but the e-mail address is no good. I have some information I'd like very much to share with him. Ric Gordon in Texas

I am searching for Simeon R. Coker (b. abt. 1819) in Ga . He married Susan Blankenship in 1843 in Hall Co GA. According to the 1850 Jackson Co GA census their children were Andrew Freeman, Asbury J. , Calvin, Barton, Edward R.R., Rutha Jane, Lotta Ellen, Simeon L., Martha(who died young) and Delina Susan(Susan Lynie). Simeon died after 1870 in Hall Co. He was 16 years old in an 1834 school district 392 list along with Larkin Coker (age 12) , Allen Coker (age 14),and Mary Garrard (age 10). Their teacher was Robert Mullins. Were Allen and Larkin related to Simeon? Who were Simeon's parents? I would appreciate any information and help provided about this family. Joyce
