    1. [COHUERFA] First papers of naturalization, BOSONE

    3. Hi Karen, I realize how busy you are, but I wonder if you could help me with an address, or a tip on how to find where the first papers might have been filed for my family. My Grandfather, Francesco BOSONE, my Father, Giuseppe "Joe" BOSONE, my Uncle, Pietro BOSONE. My Grandfather came to the US in 1891, settled in the Gunnison area, working in the coal mines. My Grandmother and four children came to the US in 1901, and went to the Gunnison area to be with my Grandfather. I know that my Dad's final naturalization papers were given to him in Ellensburg, WA, but I am guessing that the initial papers were started in CO before they moved on to WA. They worked in the mines in Gunnison, Walsenburg, Trinidad, and Baldwin, CO. On the manifest of my Grandmother and children, it named a mine that looked to be "Alpine Coal Mine", Baldwin, CO. Don't know if that gives you enough information to get me on the right track, but will try to give you more info if needed. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you might be able to give me.
