HICKLIN profession/job--Minister Methodist church, sold Bibles door to door [is much as I know] wife, Nellie (RAY) HICKLIN Children: Reginald Ray HICKLIN, Carlos Levi HICKLIN, jr, aka Carl L. HICKLIN. Husband/wife b Livingston or Crittenden co, KY. Ray b 1909, KY, Carl b Hoehne, CO 1912 Now the interesting part. Am trying to find illegitimate dau/son. Supposedly while pastoring, selling Bibles, he had an affair. A baby was born, sex not known. Woman died shortly thereafter. Time ca 1916. I don't know if Rev Carl L. HICKLIN is on the CO census. Because of her pregnancy or the birth, the 4 of them moved to NE Colorado, and then back to KY. If alive adult would be around 90. When I went to college in 1965, my mother was panicked that this child's son might end up at the same college, and we would fall in love. That didn't happen. Later on Mother told me the story.
