You know Janet, I think you and I share a very deep feeling here. Yes, it is a tribute to the ones that have passed on before us. Last night I received a private message from a lady that had tried to contact me by phone. She had buried her baby in the La Veta cemetery, had moved out of state and had never been able to afford to come back and visit the grave. She said now she can visit her baby's grave anytime she wants. You can only imagine how emotional that message was. So you see, it's not just about recording history, because someday these stones will all be gone, it's about paying tribute and honor to our ancestors that built this country too. I'm sorry I made you cry but it's so heartwarming to know that some of my researchers are so very touched by the work that I do. THANK YOU for your message.
