According to the census, Manuel Apodaca could have been her brother.She had a nephew by the name of Crespen Apodaca who could be great great grandfather to some living today. Rita was an indian girl raised on a reservation. Some in the family believe Apache,Mescelero,Jicarillo. We are still trying to confirm this. Abran Diaz and Maria diaz were two of their children that I knew of. The census of 1870 in San Miguel County, town of Jourupa shows they had also: Petra, Teofilo,Tsidora and Julianna.Maybe even more, I haven't completed my research. Abran's first wife was Cevaria. They had a son named Doroteo.But ended up with a total of nine. His second wife was Fernanda Cruz. He was 20 years older than her. He had 15 more kids.
