She is survived by her husband, Vern Dufur, La Veta, her mother, Dorothy Smith, Farmington, NM, children, Lonnie (Phyllis) Bolin, La Veta, Curtis Lofton, Farmington, NM, step-children, Jimmy Dufur, Texas, Evelyn Dufur, Donnie Dufur, Shelly Dufur, New Mexico, brothers, Leon Towell, Casper, WY, Alvin Towell, New Mexico, Dawayne Towell, Wyoming, Clay Towell, New Mexico, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Oliver Towell, and three children, Connie, Bo and Robbie. Graveside services were held at the La Veta Cemetery.
