The Family History Center has started an ambitious project to index and place online, for free, their entire collection of genealogical records. They have started this project with a restricted number of volunteers. Once they are sure everything is working correctly they will open the project up to all volunteers to help with the indexing. They provide a program that is to be used to create the indexes. The volunteer, at their convenience, will download a batch of records that will take about 30 minutes to index, at least according to them. The program they provide will display the downloaded records on the bottom half of the screen. The top half of the screen contains a form where the volunteer enters the information needed for the index.
