This is my first attempt at trying to find relatives of my husband's grandmother Jennie L. Hughes Erickson , Vandecar, Porter. She was born in Conifer, Jefferson, CO June 3, 1879 to William Hughes and Annis Hagan. Died Feb 8, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Buried in Kremmling Cemetery. She had relatives in Kremmling as my husband's family went up there when he was very young ( 1941, 1942) to visit them. Also a cousin Orville Davis , her nephew we believe, came to visit them when they were living in Walsenburg, CO in the 1930s. Any help will be appreciated as we really don't know much about her other then this as she and my husband's grandfather John Alexander Erickson were divorced after having two sons Robert R. Erickson born 1898 in Denver, CO. and Charles Erickson. They were in an orphanage for some time then reunited with their father. Robert did finally see his mother when he was much older.
