Catherine S. Free Catherine Schlanker Free was born in Germany on February 16, 1944, came to Canada when a child 4 years of age and died at Sheephorn, Colorado April 23 at the age of 79 years 2 mo. And 7 days. She was married to Emil Free in Jan 1891: no children were born of this union, but she was a loving wife, and mother to 3 stepchildren, two of whom now live in Canada and Chas. Free of Sheephorn. She leaves a host of friends who will always remember her by her good deeds and her willingness to always help those in need. She with her husband came to Sheephorn two years ago to spend their declining years with their son and during this short period won friends wherever she went. Mrs. Free has been a true christian all of her life and trusted her Savior fully that he would tide her over lifes stormy waves and at last take her to him to dwell forever.
