I am working on my great grandfather, Domenico Zancanella aka Fred D. Zancanella. He lived in Gilpin County for many many years. I am sure he had relatives there. He then moved to Denver. He owed a saloon at one time and, I believe, he owned "The Union Brewing Co." along with his brother, Giacomo. Would like to hear from anyone researching the name "Zancanella." Thanks, [email protected]

Hello, I have traced several ancestors back to Grand County, Colorado and would be interested if anyone on the list could add any more to what I know. My great-great-uncles, Thomas E PHARO and William PHARO emigrated to Colorado in 1870. Thomas E established a property at Colorow, near Kremmling and became a County Commissioner. In the 1880's they were joined by 2 of their sisters, Eliza Ann and Lucy Charlotte (Nelly). Thomas E married Hannah Louisa Moschel and had 4 children, Henry W, Maud E, Thomas Jr and Nettie A. Thomas Jr married Mary Thompson in Grand Co, but later settled in Eagle County, married Arta Hockett and at one time was part owner of a garage in Eagle. I don't know if he had any children. Henry W married Marrian DeBerard. Maud E married James H MacDonald. Nettie A married George M Hartman. Eliza Ann married John Thomas Marshall. They founded Acorn Ranch in Summit Co and had children Alva, Pat, Tom, Frances and Patsy. Lucy Charlotte (Nelly) married Henry Eastin. I seem to know more about my US ancestors than I do about their other sister who stayed in the UK and was my great-grandmother! I would love to hear from anyone who know of any living relatives of the above. Regards, Briony [email protected] Briony Woods 253289 IBM UK Ltd, B1C North Harbour, Portsmouth
Got my eyes crossed her Fathers name was William Hagan , her mother was Annis Hughes. Gail M. Erickson
This is my first attempt at trying to find relatives of my husband's grandmother Jennie L. Hughes Erickson , Vandecar, Porter. She was born in Conifer, Jefferson, CO June 3, 1879 to William Hughes and Annis Hagan. Died Feb 8, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Buried in Kremmling Cemetery. She had relatives in Kremmling as my husband's family went up there when he was very young ( 1941, 1942) to visit them. Also a cousin Orville Davis , her nephew we believe, came to visit them when they were living in Walsenburg, CO in the 1930s. Any help will be appreciated as we really don't know much about her other then this as she and my husband's grandfather John Alexander Erickson were divorced after having two sons Robert R. Erickson born 1898 in Denver, CO. and Charles Erickson. They were in an orphanage for some time then reunited with their father. Robert did finally see his mother when he was much older. Thanks very much. Gail M. Erickson
