Do you have an answer to my question: when did the cemetery at Arboles get removed and the caskets moved to Allison and elsewhere? I know it had to around the time of the Bureau of Reclaimation's purchase of all the land near Arboles. My granddad, Joseph Melrose, lived up north of the old town of Arboles along the Piedra river.
