I should have added that Greg did not spam the list. His email has been hacked or his computer is sickly. This isn't his fault. Colleen On 10/16/2011 11:33 AM, Greg Brown wrote: > ...I’ve never seen such a useful shop
To those who are wondering, yes, this is spam. Please do not click on the link as it may lead to a trojan, a virus, or root-kit being dropped into your computer. I've dealt with the matter and we shouldn't get another one of these messages again (I hope). Paula: Please feel free to use the maps as you see fit. There is no credit line required other than an indication of where you got them from. (Thanks for asking!) I'd encourage you to point people to the CoGenWeb site (http://www.cogenweb.com/) for additional maps (http://www.cogenweb.com/maps.html), named-location locaters, and lots of other Colorado historical and genealogical information. I would like to show a little of the evolution of our judicial district and the maps are so fun. I would love to include a link to your site as well so folks can enjoy all your maps. I was traveling on the 30th, 1st and 2nd and am now in Arizona again. I procrastinated as long as I could and it is hot in AZ for a couple more days at least. Our Tahoe got broken into at the motel in Albuquerque and so we can't get in the drivers door. They were after the car, not what was in it but they got my manuals on the car and my handicap tag. Roll Call is looking good. If you have one or two counties, could you consider taking on one more county to help out. A lot of these counties need to be updated and if you are willing I will get you the passwords. Complaints are coming in because of broken links to email addresses. or volunteers are not answering their emails. We get a lot of requests for look-ups but the county doesn't even have a coordinator so it is hard to get our job some to please researchers.. I am holding the CC's to three counties. If you have three, don't volunteer to work on another one. Some of us have one or two and could maybe handle one more to not adopt but to clean up. g

Checking in. Does anyone besides me realize that Christmas is just month after next???? Geez.... Colleen
I finished updating my Boulder County site. I"m still working on getting all my information back up on Weld County, although I made some real progress this past month. I added a "What's New" page, and started extracting and/scanning articles from old(ca 1900 and before) Weld County newspapers. I hope to add several a month for the next year or so. If I can find someone to do this for me, I will be "over the moon" LOL!. I am also working on my cemetery pages. I have hundreds of photos for old abandoned cemeteries in Weld that need to be brought back online. Once that is done, Weld County should be caught up. Pauli
