Nothing going on with my counties. I just got back from visiting my parents in La Jara for Christmas. It was COLD, there were a couple days it didn't get over 0 most of the time under 10 and was in the -30's a couple of nights. More snow than I've seen since I was a kid in the 70's when they were saying we were entering another ice age, global warming is BS. Two years in a row we've had nights with freezing weather in Phoenix and were told we would have above normal temperatures and have been on average 10 degrees below normal since summer. If changes to the state page need to be made please tell me exactly what you want changed and what page. If more than one person is doing the pages then it is possible that we will be undoing each other's work.. Also Gail could you sweep the state pages and let me know any problems you find. I believe the problems you and Sundee were having with the code is it has so many errors in it that it is a wonder some parts of it displayed.. I just went though all the pages in the CCinfo directory and cleaned up the code except the rulesmarkup.htm page, is it being used? There were a lot of table errors which I know will cause display errors, improper use of lists and list items, I think LI was being used when the intent was to highlight a item and I changed a lot of them to <strong> There were list items that were not in a list or unclosed, unordered and detail lists mixed together and bunch of other minor errors. I still have most of the pages in the main directory to go through. I haven't looked at goldmine, medi, map\eveloution directories yet What is the current URL for Las Animas? this one generates a 404 http://www.kmitch.com/LasAnimas/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~cogenweb/volunteers.htm Meet the volunteer's there is a lot of information that needs to be updated I think, also on the http://www.rootsweb.com/~cogenweb/ccinfo/reception.htm is way out of date Scott Scheibe dsscheibe@earthlink.net http://scottsworld.info/gene.htm Alamosa Co., Costilla Co., Mineral Co. & Rio Grande Co., Colorado Coordinator, USGenWeb Project. <http://www.rootsweb.com/~coalamos/> <http://www.rootsweb.com/~cocostil/> <http://www.rootsweb.com/~cominera/> <http://www.rootsweb.com/~coriogra/> Descendants of Capt. We do a check list each month when we have check-ins. This month we need to hear from all the county coordinators to see if you are still active and if we don't hear from you, your county will be put up for adoption. Some of you have not checked in for months and that is one of the requirements of being a county coordinator in Colorado. We also have the following counties up for adoption: Bent, Jefferson, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Pitkin and Prowers. If you happen to be the county coordinators for one of the above listed counties, please let us know that we have made a mistake. Gail

Well Hello to Susie, congrats to new mom to be with a degree, and to Karen who's finishing up her two year project, and what's new here? Another surgery on the 16th I have a few loose screws in my back. Have my obits ready to put into a format my son devised. It will be from 1885. Unfortunately we attended a funeral today for a dear friend of over 30 years who is the 4th generation Coloradoan. She has children my son's age here to perpetuate the pioneer family status. Sundee If the Colorado Tombstone Photo Project that we have listed at the bottom of the county index is still the Colorado USGenWeb Archives Tombstone Photo Project you need to remove it from the table. My photo pages are a part of the USGenWeb Archives so there is no need to list my coordinator. Lee Zion CO USGenWeb Archives File Manager
