Denise, I still take paper and clipboard with me as the pictures don't do well on the little metal mortuary markers. So, I usually write that information down and the same with the old worn faded stones. The neat thing is you can also do a transcription from your photos for the transcription project. So, you are getting two projects done at one time. Gail
Wow! Gail, that is fantastic! Great job@! I just yesterday started working on a cemetery in Broward County, FL. I coerced my son to try out his new camera and he was just thrilled with how great of pictures it took. He took about 240 photos yesterday and I took about 250! All that in just about 1 hour in Our Lady Queen of Heaven and we only did about 8 rows in one section! I hope to get him down there with me more often. Now he wants to give another of his cameras to my 16 year old daughter and put her to work on a row also. He started with the first row and I with the second and we just moved back and forth skipping each other's row to our next one. It was great to use a digital to do all of this. I remember doing cemeteries in Indianapolis with a piece of paper, a clip board and pens! Yuck! Denise **************Start the year off right. We topped 20,000 tonight...IA is over 350,000 and NE just topped 45,000. That is a lot of graves. g
Hi, Has Las Animas County been put online? When I use the drop down menu from the State page, all I get is a directory. Karen

I don't know who is taking care of Jefferson County while we are waiting for a new CC but our long time friend and supporter Terry Lasky just contacted me to point out a broken link from the ~cojeffer/obituary.html page.
