Hi everyone - I'm looking for death information for my wife's grandfather. Gideon Lyman FRIEND, Jr. I have him on the 1930 census and was told that he died in Canon City, but no one living know the date. I had heard that he was a prison guard and was killed by a prisoner, but that's all the information that I have. Can anyone help me with this? Is there any way to look up death information with only the name? I know in Maryland, there is a way but you have to go to the state archives. Thanks, Marty ( in Maryland )
