Joseph's father was Joseph Leonard Sloan b: 1822 in North Carolina. Joseph DeWitt's mother was Katherine Carter b: 1845 in Hamblin Co., TN. I'm interested if Joseph Leonard Sloan would be the son Joseph in this bible? I know my grandmother had some relatives in Ohio but not sure who, maybe her Aunt Bessie.
