I live up copper gulch area, about 17 miles North of Westcliffe, and about 24 miles southwest of Canon City, or about 14 miles south of highway 50 near Cotopaxi. I am from Grand Junction, and decided to retire here in Fremont Co. I have not retired yet but soon. Yes, Florence and Canon City have really changed. We got a Home Depot, 2 new places to eat, and 4 movie houses. It is growing like a weed. When was the last time you were here? I really don't know too many people because I live out to far.
