Perhaps, being a lifelong resident, you are familiar with some of Canon City's history. I would like to know whether there was a telegraph office in Canon City in 1908. A relative died on a train passing through Canon City, and I'm wondering how word would have been sent to his family in Stillwater, Oklahoma, some 600 plus miles away.
