I have a letter of recommendation for him but it is dated January of 1910 so it is possible he had already left the area by the time the census was done. He also had a sister in this area who lived there in 1905. Her name was Bessie Inez Grove and she married Ernest Polhemus in Canon City on June 28, 1905. Vernon had four other brothers and sisters but I am unsure if they lived in Colorado or not. Their names were Vivian Lee, Cecil Ray, Dora Marie and Alice Beatrice Grove.
