I am researching my EVANS family. My great grandfather was John EVANS married to Emma TUCK EVANS. I know he was a member of the Oddfellows in Coal Creek. I have been having trouble finding out much about him so I have turned to his brother Thomas EVANS married to Mahalah EVANS. They have a son Richard EVANS married to Susannah J. JESSOP EVANS. They lived in Coal Creek. Thomas was a miner, he worked in the coal mines. Richard was a state senator.I believe it was for only one term. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it. I do know they came from Wales to Ohio then to Colorado. They were in Ohio on the 1880 census, I found them on the 1910 census in Colorado.
