I am new to this list and I am not familiar with Colorado at all for doing research. I am looking for information about the following person and/or his family. 1880 Federal Census, Fremont Colorado District 46 Willliam Mervine, white, male, age 23, single, occupation is minor, born in New York about 1857. William is listed in the household of Emanuel Saltiel, age 35, minor; wife Elizabeth Saltiel, age 30 children: John age 10, Henry age 8, Lucy age 6 boarders: William Ham age 23 Luther Votaw age 21 B.P. Smith age 26 William Johnson age 43 D.J. Mitchel age 29 E.J. Hicks age 26 John B. Day age 24 I am trying to connect William Mervine to a Frank Mervine. The following information is found on the federal census of 1910 in Pennsylvania. Frank Mervine born in Colorado about 1874, Frank married Sarah about 1900. Frank and Sarah had the following children: Lillie M. age 8 born in Colorado June I. age 5 born in Colorado Charles A. age 2 born in Pennsylvania John age 5/12 born in Pennsylvania This indicates that Frank and Sarah and children moved from Colorado to Pennsylvania prior to 1908 before Charles was born.
