Mary Elizabeth Moschetti, from your area of Italy. Think she was born 1897 and supposedly came over when she was 16 mos. Her family settled in the Fremont area. She married Vincenzo Madonna (Madone) who also came from the same Italian area. Would appreciate anything you might have on these two families.
Dear List Is there anyone in Canon City that would be able to help me connect the Harvey B.and Sarah Jane Allen to the William H Towns family. The Towns lived on Riverside Blvd, and the Allens lived on Stanley in South Canon, in the 1900's. Farther on down Riverside Blvd lived a Perkins family. It seems there is a relationship with the above families. Any piece of information will be greatly appreciated !!! Thankyou all in advance.!! Please email me direct if you wish to do so. Sincerely Patti Shockey

I've "rescued" a group of photographs belonging to the BURBRIDGE and DAY families including the following: 1-Milam BURBRIDGE, taken at the A.H. MacKenzie & Co. Studio in Dubuque, Iowa, notes that he is 62 years of age at the time, likely taken in the 1870's or 1880's 2-Anna B. DAY, Emma L. DAY, and Della M. BURBRIDGE, taken at the Erdlen Studio in Buena Vista, Colorado on December 31st 1887, women look to be late teens to 40's at the time 3-Mr. Charles L. DAY, Mrs. Emma B. DAY, and Emma Gertrude DAY, taken at the Dennis & Few Studio in Canon City, Colorado, probably taken in the 1890's, husband and wife appear to be in their 30's with an infant child, I believe this is the same "Emma" as in photo #2 though the middle initial isn't the same I'm hoping to locate someone from these families so that this wonderful group of old photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of one or both families, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

She lived there or nearby for about 16 years. I found a Wilson's Creek School listed. Would anyone have access to those school 'records'. I believe my grandmother went to that school. My great grandfather owned land near there until 1914 at which time they moved to Portland, OR. Any help would be appreciated.

The deed was from Margaret M. Thomas, deceased, to Mattie R. Ricketts executed Oct 1900 by Fred C. Williams of the county of Fremont. I'm not sure how I got this deed. My father-in-law collected stamps and old documents and this was probably in his house when we cleaned it out. Anyway, this has no meaning to me and I would like to send it to anyone who might be related. Please contact me privately if you are interested.

Surnames: Robinson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lY.2ADE/520 Message Board Post: My wife and I recently purchased a home in Florence that was built around 1897 by M. Bert and Carrie Lobach Robinson. As far as we've been able to find out, the Robinsons had at least five children. One girl was named Gertrude. M. Bert was the son of Thomas and May Robinson who built the huge brick mansion on the northwest corner of Second and Crawford in Florence. Robinson street was named in his honor. Robinson, later changed to Adalaid, was a major station on the F&CC RR. Thomas was the Superintendent of the Union Oil Company in Florence, M.Bert was the Assistant Superintendent. Thomas was also involved with the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad and the stillborn Florence, Canon City and Royal Gorge Electric Railroad. Something happened in 1906, Thomas went broke and died in 1907, May ended up destitute, living in an apartment down by the tracks. She died a couple of years later. They are buried in Union Highland Cemetery. Thomas's grave marker in made of wood by the employees of Union Oil, May's is unmarked. The last I can find of M.Bert is as that he was a pumper for the oil company in 1916. They sold the house, our house, at 422 E 2nd St., sometime in the late 20's to Eddie Crebbs. We love the house and want to know more about the family that lived here. Any information will be appreciated.
