    2. BEVERLY HARRIS
    3. I am related to the Newell / Newall famalies of Coal Creek and Rockvale area. My great great grandmother was Mary Jane Newell, sister of James Newell. There were eight children, James, Mary Jane, and Roger all born in Antrim County, Ireland. Margaret, , Margaret (2nd) and Elizabeth all born in Waterside, Dalmellington, Scotland. John and Thomas stayed in Ireland when they went to Scotland to America. Are you related to these. James Newall 1, was born 13 June 1828 in Ireland and died 2 April 1891 in Coal Creek. He was married twice. First to Margaret Faibain, second to Margaret Massey, also buried in Union Highland Cemetery Florence, died in Coal Creek. There is Charles Newell grandson of James Newell still living in Rockvale, and Dorothy Wilcox granddaughter living in Florence. I am from Mary Jane who married William R. Allen in Scotland, Coal Cree, Rockvale. Does any of this help? Bev. BEVERLY HARRIS beverlyk2@earthlink.NET I finally got it together, But I forgot where I put it >^,,^< ~

I can see by all the messages you have posted that you are very busy tracking down ancestors. Do you have much info on your father's family? I have just a little, and am now trying to put more things together for my mother's Rivera family. I've collected quite a bit on her mother's side (Coggins), going back to around 1870 when her GGF came from Ireland. But am now just starting to collect info on her father's side. If I need help, can I ask you questions? I was hoping that your conferate ancestor was on your father's side, but I guess I struck out. It would make for an interesting story. Please send an email (otis1933@hotmail.com) and let me know where you are and what you are up to. I'll tell my parents that I chatted with you. Keep in touch! Chris Valdez
