My G/Grandfather William Quigley, supposedly died in Cripple Creek or Altman, Colorado in 1893. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen and a miner in the area. His wife Minetta (Mena, Minnie, Menetta, Nettie) married a Bernard Herbst July 20, 1897. The marriage was registered as Minatz (sic) Quigley and Bennard (sic) Herbst in El Paso, County, Colorado. My grandmother told me she died in childbirth Feb. 2, 1898 on Ground Hog day. Since Bernard's name is in the 1900 Altman, Colorado City Directory owning Quigley Hall, I feel that Minetta died there too. I have absolutely no information as to where William and Minetta would have been buried. I wish I could with certainty know that the dates are correct for their deaths.
