Ida Freed, 90, of Colorado Springs died Wednesday in a Colorado Springs nursing home. She had worked as a real estate saleswoman for Faith Realty and was a homemaker. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., with the Rev. Ray Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Freed was born Feb. 12, 1895, in Rantoul, Kan. and had lived in Colorado Springs for many years. She was married in 1914 in Rantoul to Seth Freed, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Freed was active in the Republican Party. She had been a member of the Free Methodist Church since 1922. Mrs. Freed is survived by a son, Seth Jr., of Castle Rock; a sister, Jessie Birney of Garden City, Kan.; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
