The services will be in charge of the G.A. R., Rev. Albert V. Luco, pastor of the Christian church officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. All members of W.R.C. No. 4 are requested to attend the services. ------------------- Colorado Springs Gazette Sunday, 21 Oct. 1917 page 16:1 The body of Alexander Taws, chief of police of Colorado City six years ago, and a pioneer of the Pikes Peak region, who died in Denver Friday, will be brought to Colorado Springs for interment.
