I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as that of "Theodore's wife and her daughter Nellie WHEATON" which was taken at the C. L. Gillingham Studio in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with the Mother likely in her 40's or 50's and the daughter in her teens or 20's. On the back of the photograph is the name Miss Mattie CORRICK, leading me to believe that they may be connected to the CORRICK Family as well. Based on limited research I was able to make the connection between the families and identify Nellie's Mother as Susan CORRICK in census records as follows: 1900 census of Colorado Springs, CO: Theodore CORRICK, age 45, born Apr 1855, married, a Teamster Susan CORRICK, wife, age 54, born Aug 1846, married, 2 children/2 living +5 lodgers 1900 census of Denver, CO: John H. CORRICK, Mother-in-law, age 64, 2nd marriage 24 years, 2 children/2 living, born IL, parents born NY I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
