Hi Harald, I checked through every available online cemetery in El Paso County, especially the largest and most likely ones. I checked under Coupon and Koppang, and was unable to find any listing for him. Additionally, I did search for newspaper articles from Colorado Springs that are indexed online, and there was clearly one article listed for him, under Carl Coupon, Birth of a Daughter, from April 1908. There was also an obituary for Ralph Coupon in 1901. I have ordered a copy of both of these articles, and they should arrive in about a week. I wasn't sure if Ralph Coupon was related, but these were the only articles for Coupon. There wasn't an indexed listing for an obituary for Carl Coupon, which was a disappointment. There may have been an obituary for him in the newspaper though. I would have to try another source to see if there may have been an obituary published in the Colorado Springs newspapers. I checked in the only two online listings for Colorado Springs city directories, and I was unable to find a listing for the Coupon family in the 1911 and the 1912 city directories. I checked several other online listings for newspaper articles for him. Unfortunately, the word "coupon" was a commonly used term even back in the early 1900s, so there were so many listings that I was unable to find something specific for him. I will continue to search through other resources if I can think of any. Hello Jean Thank you for your great help. There is always new information. You have found Ralph Coupon, he was Carl Ludwick Coupon,s nephew, son of his brother August Johan Coupon. I only had information that show me that this boy lived in 1900 (Census) but not what year he died. Great work. Ralph Coupon was born 1894. You found a newspaper when Carl Ludwick Coupon got his first second and last child named Ruth Elisabeth. She was born april 19, 1908. It is tru her daughter Sharon Burch in California I have got most of the information about Carl Ludwick Coupon. But because mother and two children left Colorado and husband they knew so little about Carl Ludwicks life. This faily had the name Koppang, named from a place in Norway. In USA they change it to Coupon. Thanks again.
