Pikes Peak Genealogical Society volunteers, in conjunction with Special Collections in the Pikes Peak Library District, Colorado Springs, have scanned and placed online the extant Colorado Springs city directories for 1879 to 1922. You can view them at www.ppgs.org and click on the image of the directory, on the right. The set of links to the PDF volumes is at the bottom of the page. The text of the PDF images is fully searchable. Just type your target word into the search box at the top right part of the PDF toolbar. Images can also be printed and saved. In addition to Colorado Springs, residents of Colorado City (now part of western Colorado Springs), and Manitou are included. 1901, 1913, and 1918 are not yet completed, but they should be up within a couple weeks. Volumes after 1922 will be available on computers at Special Collections, but for copyright reasons are not being placed online.
