i would imagine that some on this list already know this but today i found a name that i would like pass along for anyone who descends from robert coe, puritan. i have always known his mother's name was mary but i found that her last name appears to be vincent. her fathers name was andrew and he married alice ????. andrew's father was nicholas. the family is from bildeston, suffolk, england and the info that i have comes from two sources. suffolk co. probate records and suffolk co. parish records. andrew vincent and alice had andrew; nicholas; alice; susanne; brigett; joan; mary; and elizabeth. i have not checked the records set down by the author but he is very respectable and until i or someone else checks these records i am happy with what i found. roberts father was henry coo/coe. his wife mary was bp. 13 jan. 1565/6; m. 21 sept. 1587 at bildeston. henry was buried 28 jan. 1630/1 and mary was buried on 20 oct. 1631, both in boxford. the name of the book where this is to be found is: "50 great migration colonists to new england and their origins" by john brooks threlfall. book dated 1990. this is a great book on these 50 and their families and some of their ancestors. gary in oregon
